Synthetic Animation Compression using Model-Based Approach

چکیده

Traditional approach to performing motion estimation on video is to find the frame-to-frame coherence in the image sequence. In a synthetic animation video sequence, we can take advantage of information used in rendering the animation to guide the motion estimation in order to achieve effective compression. In this proposal, we discuss potential solutions towards the problem as future research directions.
